TRINIDAD As you’ve noticed, the concrete is falling. Bit by bit and piece-by-piece the viaduct is being demolished. Early next week Lawrence Construction expects to begin demolition work on the northbound I-25 via-duct above the railroad tracks and University Street (State Highway 12). This work is expected to last three days. During this time, traffic will be detoured north on State Street, east on College Street then south on Nevada. Demolition work is expected to continue into August. Various intersections will be closed for safety as demolition work progresses overhead, intersection closures will be announced as the schedule becomes available.
