This project is located on I-25, in and adjacent to the City of Trinidad in Las Animas County, Colorado. Trinidad is approximately 22 miles north of Raton, New Mexico, and 37 miles south of Walsenburg. The project begins at the Santa Fe Trail Interchange (Mile Post 11.00) and extends north to the Goddard Avenue (US160 Bypass) Interchange (Mile Post 14.80).
